Dyngus Day Amateur Accordion Contest 2023!

Please fill out the form below. Here are some general rules:

• Accordionists can be of ages 5-95
• You must be able to attend Dyngus Day Cleveland on Monday, April 10^th
• All participants must fill out the entry form below.
• Participants will be selected by a committee set up by Dyngus Day Cleveland.
• Once participants are selected to be in the contest they MUST be able to compete on Dyngus Day—Monday, April 10th 2023 at 2PM on the Bier Heaven Stage.
• Competitors will play 3 songs—1 polka, 1 waltz, and 1 song of their own choice and style.
• Competitors will be judged on talent, stage presence, persona, song selection and execution. Judges scores will be tallied at the end of the competition and a winner will then be announced.
• Competitors will be judged live on stage by a committee selected by Dyngus Day Cleveland.
• Competitors must have a positive attitude and show “sportsmanlike” conduct during the competition or they will be disqualified.
• Dyngus Day Cleveland and their judges reserve the right to disqualify any of the competitors at any time for any reason.
